The Minister of Development, Housing, Logistics and Territorial Cohesion, Octavio López, and the President of the Port of Valencia, Mar Chao, signed a protocol for the intermodal development of a plot of land in the Zaragoza platform and the Teruel railway terminal. This protocol involves the implementation of a series of joint actions between the Government of Aragon and the APV, such as the promotion of rail intermodality to facilitate the provision of a rail freeway service between the two Aragonese logistics platforms and the ports of Valencia and Sagunto, collaboration with logistics operators in the search for multimodal transport solutions and initiatives to support the Central Pyrenees Crossing (TCP), to generate a high-capacity rail link connecting the Iberian Peninsula with the rest of Europe through France without the risk of collapse of the border crossings at Irun and Portbou.
