We promote sustainable connectivity between Europe and the Iberian Peninsula
As set out in Article 6 of its Statutes, the Foundation was established with the purpose of fostering cross-border, transnational, and interregional cooperation. From a sustainable development perspective, it carries out and manages projects and territorial cooperation initiatives of interest to Aragon, within its areas of competence, with the aim of strengthening economic and social cohesion.
The creation of the Fundación Transpirenaica responds to the need for a coordinated and strategic approach to address the challenges and opportunities faced by Aragon in the European and cross-border context.
Through its activities, the Foundation not only represents and promotes the interests of Aragon, but also seeks to influence European political and legislative decision-making in support of those interests, while securing institutional backing from the European Union for specific projects and initiatives.
