OBJECT AND PURPOSE

The purpose of the Foundation is to promote cross-border, transnational and interregional cooperation by carrying out and managing, from a sustainable development perspective, territorial cooperation projects and actions that are of interest to Aragon, within its areas of competence, with the aim of strengthening economic and social cohesion.

In order to fulfill its purpose, the Foundation has the following functions:

a) Defending the interests of Aragon before the EU;
b) Promoting Aragonese participation in European projects;
c) Addressing cross-border issues;
d) Accelerating the construction of strategic infrastructures necessary for the sustainable development of Aragon;
e) Carrying out studies or services necessary for the performance of its purpose and functions.
