The Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility of the Government of Spain, Oscar Puente, and the French Minister of Transport, Philippe Tabarot, met in Madrid for their first official meeting to address pending issues regarding cross-border communications through the Atlantic and Mediterranean connections, the reopening of the Canfranc line and the Central Pyrenees Crossing (TCP).

The meeting was marked by the current geopolitical situation on the continent, which calls for the connections between the two countries to be made more permeable, especially in the current delicate context.
