On September 18, the works for the Improvement and Modernization of the Ojos Negros Greenway between kilometer points 96+950 and 107+868 were received.
This concludes an action that has allowed the complete renovation of this 11K stretch located in the municipalities of Sarrión and Albentosa, one of the most frequented by hikers and cyclists of the largest greenway in the Iberian Peninsula.
These works, promoted by the General Directorate of Transport of the Government of Aragon and for which the Strategic Infrastructures Area of the Transpirenaica Foundation provides technical assistance for the monitoring and supervision of the works, have lasted 4.5 months and more than 350,000.00€ have been invested, significantly improving the safety of the road by means of slope stabilization systems, in addition to the renewal of the pavement, signaling and improvement of the drainage.
