Program Committee No. 7 of the European project: “Overcoming missed connections between France and Spain: Pau-Canfranc-Zaragoza” (Zaragoza).
The Director General of Transport of the Government of Aragon, David Sanchez, and the Managing Director of the Trans-Pyrenees Foundation, Cristina Garcia, organized and participated in the follow-up meeting of the European project ‘Overcoming Missed Connections between France and Spain: Pau-Canfranc-Zaragoza’, funded under the Connecting Europe Facility.
The meeting was attended by all the project partners, both from the Spanish side, with representatives of the Government of Aragon, the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility (MTMS) and ADIF, and from the French side, with representatives of the New Aquitaine Region and the infrastructure manager SNC-F Réseau. On the occasion of the meeting, in which the state of progress of the project was explained, a technical visit was made to PLAZA, explaining the operation of the railway terminal and the projects drafted for the Algeciras-Zaragoza railway freeway.
