The managing director of the Trans-Pyrenees Foundation participated in Barcelona in the Annual General Assembly of the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions (CPMR).

The event brings together regions from all over Europe to define common priorities in cohesion, transport, energy, maritime affairs, neighborhood, sustainable transition and the future Multiannual Financial Framework 2028-2034.

During the event, the CPMR’s 2024-2025 activity report was presented, together with the 2025-2026 Action Plan on climate, energy, cohesion, transport, maritime affairs and neighborhood.

Two key thematic sessions were held throughout the morning: session 4, entitled “Territorial competitiveness and preparation of territories for the new European cycle” and session 5, on “EU Budget 2028-2034 and CPMR priority policies”, with the participation of representatives of the European Parliament, the Council and regions such as Corsica.
