OBJECT AND PURPOSE<\/h1>\n

The purpose of the Foundation is to promote cross-border, transnational and interregional cooperation by carrying out and managing, from a sustainable development perspective, territorial cooperation projects and actions that are of interest to Aragon, within its areas of competence, with the aim of strengthening economic and social cohesion.<\/p>\n

In order to fulfill its purpose, the Foundation has the following functions:<\/span><\/p>\n

a) Defending the interests of Aragon before the EU;
b) Promoting Aragonese participation in European projects;
c) Addressing cross-border issues;
d) Accelerating the construction of strategic infrastructures necessary for the sustainable development of Aragon;
e) Carrying out studies or services necessary for the performance of its purpose and functions.<\/p>\n
